RPO Recruitment is currently hiring a Surface General Engineering Supervisor to join a well-established mining company in the Northern Cape. As a Surface General Engineering Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery on the surface mining operations. Responsibilities: Supervise and manage the maintenance team on site Ensure equipment availability and productivity Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs Manage and control maintenance costs and budgets Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards Monitor and report on equipment performance and reliability Identify areas for improvement and implement action plans Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations Requirements Grade 12 Trade Test Certificate Artisan / Technician N5 Engineering Studies Advanced Management Certificate Minimum 6 Years Post apprenticeship in an artisan / technician trade in heavy industrial, mining or plant and/or Trackless Mobile Machinery At least 5 Years Supervisory experience Strong knowledge of maintenance strategies and practices Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and challenging environment Valid driver's license Benefits Salary: Negotiable Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Training&Development Contact RPO Recruitment for your next career opportunity.
