Job Description: Procurement SpecialistA leading workforce solutions company, driven to grow people, businesses, and economies through connections that allow them to realize their potential has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Specialist in Gauteng.Responsibilities:Develop the Procurement strategy to support and enable the achievement of the Adcorp business strategy including target setting, sourcing strategy, strategic supplier management, and capability planning.Develop and implement category and sourcing strategy taking into account the value, risk, and volumes of each major type of spend.Analyse supplier key performance indicators and support risk management for the supply base.Manage central supplier relationships, pricing negotiations, and contracts.Facilitate the use of appropriate procurement technology and reporting during interactions between managers, procurement, facilities, and operating entities.Assist with the preparation of tenders.Draft and implement procurement processes in line with good governance.Draw up monthly procurement reports.Negotiate contracts and deals with vendors.Optimise sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency.Liaise with stakeholders to guarantee agreement on terms and processes.Research and anticipate shifts in the negotiating power of suppliers.Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.Estimate risks and apply risk-minimizing techniques.Partner with trustworthy vendors and suppliers.Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.Manage relationships with existing and potential suppliers.Work collaboratively with business units to implement the procurement strategy.Collate internal requirements once business planning and forecasting have been completed to create a view of the future spend across categories, locations, etc.Requirements:BCom Degree5 years of experience in Procurement with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.Proven track record in strategic sourcing and supplier managementOther Skills:The ability to work with multiple stakeholders.Vendor management approval and list must be kept for the company.Finance:Draw up procurement costing budget in line with business requirements.Analyse current spend and forecast requirements per category.Analysing the market for emerging trends in each category such as supply constraints, price movements, new products, and services, etc.Management of the procurement budget.People:Mentor and motivate team members.#J-18808-Ljbffr
