The LabourNet Group is currently experiencing tremendous growth and as such we’re constantly searching for top talent.Job DescriptionLabourNet is currently in the process of integrating Health and Safety into our national product offering structure and as such we have an exciting position available for an Occupational Health and Safety Consultant to be based at ourJohannesburg South branch.NB: Having a valid driver's license and own vehicle is essential for this position.QualificationsYou are responsible forInclusive of, but not limited to:Provide advice to support overall compliance with OHS legal requirements (OHS Act & Regulations, COIDA, SANS, SABS, etc.) and mitigate the client’s exposure to operational losses, fines, penalties, or reputational damage.Implement and maintain a detailed project plan for each client.Conduct safety audits aligned with the industry standard(s)Prepare and deliver safety files that are specific to the project.The project plan includes, but is not limited to:Drafting and implementing OHS PoliciesDrafting and implementing risk assessments and safe work proceduresConducting Incident Investigations and reporting back to management of the organizationTraining and upskilling the client’s employees to perform inspections on a monthly basis and auditing inspections.Drafting and implementing emergency preparedness and response proceduresEstablishing and facilitating safety committeesDrafting and conducting OHS inductions as per client’s requirements.Package & Remuneration:Salary: R15 300 - R17 850 CTC per monthBenefits:Cell phone, internet and laptop + excellent career growth as well as a great commission structure.You are a part ofOur people are experts in their field, who have a passion for what they do and constantly seek to exceed the expected standard.
