Hire Resolve is currently seeking a Management Accountant to join an electrical transformer manufacturer in Bellville. The Management Accountant will play a pivotal role in the financial operations of the company, with the potential for growth into a Financial Manager position. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in management accounting, financial analysis, and strategic decision-making. They will be responsible for implementing and improving financial systems, analysing key financial data, and providing valuable insights to support critical business decisions.ResponsibilitiesImplement and enhance financial control and ERP systems to align management information with world-class standards.Ensure accurate reporting of business transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.Review and analyse expense variances for company management.Collaborate with manufacturing and servicing managers to develop sound costing models and achieve optimal stock control.Work with the procurement department to identify major cost drivers and facilitate effective price negotiation with suppliers.Manage logistics store management department to ensure accurate daily stock control.Mentor finance and admin staff to ensure proper financial control processes through detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).Oversee financial control of weekly and monthly payrolls.Develop budgeting and funding feasibility models.Assist in managing the company's investments.Conduct foreign exchange purchases and negotiations (Knowledge of SARS import and export regulations advantageous).Manage the finance administration department to meet stringent deadlines.Evaluate the company's performance using key financial data.Compile forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.Conduct risk assessments and advise on ways to minimise risk.Provide strategic insights, suggest improvements, and offer solutions.Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.Ensure SARS tax compliance at all times.Coordinate with external auditors to manage semester and annual SARS deliverables.RequirementsProven experience as a management accountant, accounting supervisor, or similar role.Solid knowledge of basic and advanced financial accounting principles and practices.Excellent understanding of cost accounting and reporting.BenefitsSalary NegotiableContact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.Our client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience.Apply for this role today, contact Sebastian Steyn at Hire Resolve or on LinkedInYou can also visit the Hire Resolve website: hireresolve.us or email us your CV: financialcareers@hireresolve.za.comWe will contact you telephonically in 3 days should you be suitable for this vacancy.
