Senior Network Administrator - Full time, On site (Durban) 6-Month Contract A valued Datacentrix client is seeking a Senior Network Administrator to join their dynamic team on site in Durban for a 6-month contract period.The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a Network Engineering & Administration role within a Banking, Audit or similar corporate environment. Reporting Line:The candidate will report to the Information Technology Operations Manager. Purpose:To be responsible for facilitating the implementation, maintenance and remediation of audit findings related to IT systems and resources (i.e. hardware, software, networking and communications) to mitigate risks and strengthen controls.Qualifications: - An Information Technology Diploma / Degree- MCSE/MCSA or equivalent qualifications- VMware or similar Virtualised Technology Certification - Microsoft SQL Administration would be advantageous- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) qualifications - Cybersecurity certifications preferred.- Cloud certifications would be advantageous.Knowledge and Experience: - Windows server environment (Physical & Virtualised technologies) including hardware, operating systems and control environments. - Windows desktop hardware, operating systems and desktop applications. - Symantec Suite of Products including Backup Exec, EndPoint Compliance, client applications. - Networking Engineering incorporating Cisco Appliances, WAN, LAN technologies, Network Topologies, Routing, Switching and Firewall Security environments. - Good understanding of ERP Application environments. - Good understanding and working knowledge in respect of IT Policies and Procedures.- Security best practices and risk management experience.We appreciate your interest in this position.
