Main Purpose: To ensure the highest standards of customer service is delivered and sales turnover targets met through effective people management and enforcement of retail disciplines at store level. The successful individual will be responsible for the store administration function and will be an assistant to the Store Manager.Line Manager: Store ManagerSubordinates: All Flexi timers and permanent staff within the storeJob Specification:Key Performance Areas:1. Ensure adherence to policies and procedures as per the admin policyCompletion of daily, weekly and monthly admin checks, as per the admin check guideline and checklistsPerform daily tasks eg. declarations, prepare cash for banking and collectionCalls logged to rectify issues (stock, maintenance, cash etc)Transfer of information contained in instruction letters (RIL, MIL, PCI, SMIL and Memo) and ensure adherence to instructions and adherence to deadlines2. Cash controlAdequate POS training and support is given to staffCash control and banking processes are followed dailyCash variances are investigated, followed up on and clearedManual transactions are captured timeously once the store is back on line3. Stock ControlAdequate stock management training and support is given to staffStock management processes are followed dailyStock variances are investigated, followed up on and clearedWeekly and Quarterly stock counts and takes are prepared for and conducted accuratelyShoe pairing exercise is completed weeklyWrite offs are controlled adequately4. Care taking of the Store in absence of the Store ManagerStore is opened and trades as per requirementCustomer relations are maintainedAdequate staffing and planning is in placeInstructions and to-do lists are followedDisciplinary action takes place, where necessaryHR relations are maintained5. Customer ServiceDevelopment a service ethic culture within the store environmentInternal and external customer relationship buildingIn store coaching and on-going training of skillsRole model customer centricity and service excellenceMinimum Requirements:Experience:Minimum 5 years’ retail experienceMinimum 2 years administration management experienceExperience in working in a small - medium retail turnover storeQualifications:Complete Matric/Grade 12Tertiary Retail Qualification will be to your advantageAdditional Requirements:Excellent numeracy skillsRetail administration disciplinesStock and cash managementIn-depth knowledge of policies and proceduresCompetencies:Meeting DeadlinesMinimising RiskInterpreting DataPlanning & OrganisingThinking AnalyticallyAttention to DetailKeeping CommitmentsArticulating Information#J-18808-Ljbffr
