The successful candidate will report to the Marketing Director and be responsible for the following: *National sales&marketing *Implementation of marketing&sales strategies *Brand building *Market development&growth *Customer liaison through visits to local trade *Building relationships with customers *Liaison with retail wine buyers *Preparing&managing marketing&sales budgets *Liaising with cellar&bottling departments regarding forecasts for market requirements *Conducting market research *Planning&implementation of promotions&advertising campaigns *Representing the winery at wine events (wine shows, wine tastings, etc.) *Presenting wine tastings&cellar tours to clients *Handling customer complaints *Recordkeeping *Reporting on marketing&sales statistics *all other tasks related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • Diploma or Degree in Brand/Marketing Management; • Approximately 3 years’ experience in wine marketing&sales; • Excellent computer literacy (MS Office); • Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English); • Valid driver's license; • Willingness to travel at short notice and be away from home sometimes for up to 2/3 weeks.
