Location: Gauteng Industry: Electrical Engineering Level: Senior Key Requirements: Qualifications: BEng/BSc/BTech in Electrical Engineering, with a specialization in power systems studies preferred. Professional registration with ECSA. 6+ years of practical experience in the electrical/consulting industry, including 3 years in power system studies (PowerFactory, ETAP, CDEGS). Knowledge of substation equipment and structures up to 500 kV. Basic experience in renewable energy design, LV and Secondary Plant, and overhead line design (PLS-CADD). Skills: Proficiency in EMT simulation software. Network simulation software (PowerFactory, ETAP, PSSE/PSCAD). Project management tools (MS Projects). Experience with grid code compliance, transmission planning, and various power system studies. Personal Attributes: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
