Our Subject Music Specialist will have passion, a real love for music and a genuine interest in promoting the formal learning of Subject Music in the High School and the teaching of Class Music throughout the school. The following are regarded as given: previous experience in teaching IEB Grades 10, 11 and 12 Subject Music; at least 5 years school teaching experience: strong leadership qualities with a penchant for working with people; relevant academic qualifications (BMus) and experience in this field; commitment to complementary musical teaching eg: theory proficiency as a pianist; being a keen team player; the ability to communicate effectively with parents and skilled at administrative tasks; strong verbal and written communication skills; a SACE certificate; in possession of a current police clearance certificate.
