The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health, safety, and security programs to ensure the well-being of our employees, visitors, and assets. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying risks, implementing preventive measures, and fostering a culture of safety and security within the organization.Responsibilities will include:Develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and security policies and procedures in accordance with relevant regulations and best practices.Conduct regular audits and inspections of facilities, equipment, and processes to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.Coordinate with management and department heads to develop and deliver comprehensive safety training programs for employees.Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Collaborate with HR to manage workers' compensation claims.Monitor and analyse safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement and develop strategies to mitigate risks.Serve as the primary point of contact for emergency response planning and crisis management, including coordinating drills and exercises.Stay informed about emerging health, safety, and security trends, regulations, and technologies, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.Qualifications & Experience:Grade 12 Matriculation (Required)Professional certifications such as SAMTRAC, PSIRA or any other Health Safety and Security relevant accredited certification (Required)5+ years’ experience in a similar role and industry.Strong knowledge of relevant industry health, safety, and security regulations and standardsExperience in developing and implementing health, safety, and security policies, procedures, and training programs.Proficiency in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and emergency response planning.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and professional development in the field of health, safety, and security.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Key Requirements:These key requirements encompass a combination of technical expertise, interpersonal skills, and strategic thinking necessary for the success in the role.Competence and maturityProblem-Solving SkillsCommunication SkillsCollaboration and Relationship BuildingAttention to Detail and AccuracyTime Management and sense of urgencyJoin our team at ProProcess and contribute to our mission of delivering innovative modular solutions with excellence.
