Press Tab to Move to Skip to Content Link Job title: Snr Manager: Program Management Job grade: M4 Group/ BU: Generic Division: Generic Span of control: 5-10 Reports to: Executive Management Core Description Responsible for leading and coordinating dedicated and integrated programme management plans in Openserve ensuring that the programme/ projects produce the deliverables at the required standard of quality within the specified constraints of time, cost and quality, to achieve the benefits defined in the business case. Responsible for establishing and maintaining the program master plans, communicating and reporting on progress (milestone management). Provide a consultation/ advisory service on the roll out of the program solutions in Openserve and other stakeholders. The programs will consist of various sub projects to be managed in various domains running over multiple years and will involve extensive capital requirements. Job Responsibilities Strategic: Develop and implement a comprehensive and integrated Program Management plan Assist with the analysis of business activities, expenses and profits, establishing goals, and communicating strategy throughout the programme Establish and continually evolve the Project Management method in alignment with standard industry project management principles (PMBOK) Functional Execution: Establish programme and project objectives Developing requirements and plan schedules Balance program resources (people, budget, material, time) to optimize program objectives Develop documents in accordance with appropriate standards and customer requirements Obtain required information from key role players Drive completion of programs and projects Perform risk identification and mitigation planning Do cost benefit analysis of various products and services Establish Quality roadmaps per technology and or product Ensure seamless integration between systems before implementation - Provide decision support as well as content and process support to project owners Management: Liaise with relevant stakeholders and resolve business and or process bottlenecks Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders Determine program dependencies and milestones across multiple concurrent projects Plan and administer programme and project budgets Reporting: Monitor and measure successful completion of programme and projects Report on the performance of the various sub projects via business dashboards Align Project Office activities with BU business plans Core Competencies FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE Project Management Methodology (PMBOK); Measurement Techniques; Change Management; Telecommunication MICT Environment; Business Acumen; Telkom Products and Services; Customer experience FUNCTIONAL SKILLS Integration Management; Scope Management; Time Management; Cost Management; Quality Management; Communication Management; Risk Management; Procurement Management; Stakeholder Management ATTITUDES/ LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES Business Leadership; Market Leadership; Organizational Leadership; Personal Leadership; Thought Leadership; People Development; Team Leadership Techniques; Diversity Learning; Relationship Building; Strategic Management; Business Analysis; Business Presentation; Analytical; Selling Techniques; Negotiation Techniques; Decisive; Innovative; Committed; Positive; Perseverance; Business Orientated; Ethical; Customer Focus Values Aligned with Openserve Values Education NQF 6: 3 year Diploma/ National Diploma Experience 7 Years relevant experience, of which at least 2 years on management level Certifications Special Requirements Physical Requirements Key Stakeholders External: identified customers Internal: Openserve stakeholders Additional Information Special Requirements: #J-18808-Ljbffr
