PURPOSE OF JOB:The Samsung Experience Store (SES) Operations Manager within the Mobile (MX) Division plays a critical role in overseeing and optimizing the operational aspects of our SES business. Core, to this role, will be the re-establishment of the SES programme, partner on-boarding and setting out the programme strategy.This position collaborates closely with senior leadership, business unit leaders, and operational teams to ensure effective support for planned store openings, projected sales, and new product/innovation implementations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in franchise or retail operations, financial acumen, and a proven track record of excellence.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSES Operations Strategy and Planning:Work with the senior leadership team to define the group’s strategic objectives.Translate strategic objectives into centralized operational priorities and plans.Partner with Business Unit leaders and operational teams to define necessary budget, resourcing, and logistics management.Coordinate resourcing and planning across operations, including Samsung global support teams, shared services, and Brand operations teams to ensure alignment and support for SES programme and identified partners.National Franchise Growth and Expansion:Direct and monitor national franchise growth and expansion initiatives in line with Samsung’s targeted revenue and new store roll-out objectives.Financial Oversight:Accountable for sell-in and sell-out for the SES channel.Implement sell-out platforms and associated sales activities per Samsung’s business model, process, and systems (example: Trade-in Prgramme).Strategic Implementation:Understand organisational goals and develop an operations strategy aligned with long-term objectives.Ensure efficient operations to deliver best-in-class customer services, measured by a NPS based KPI.Market Opportunities and Revenue:Drive identification of new market opportunities and revenue maps.Training and Development:Develop and train SES operators into effective leaders.Elevate franchise partners’ teams to become market-leading experts, making SES stores a go-to destination for product knowledge and customer experience.Structure Consumer Learning Workshops within SESExcellence and Best Practices:Continuously improve operational processes.Set measurable goals and implement plans for financial performance.Store Operations:Oversee adherence to procedures, policies, and specifications.Conduct inspections and audits to maintain brand standards.New Location Setup and Ongoing Operation:Oversee preparation, training, and opening of new locations.Ensure successful same-store sales growth.Annual Business Planning and Review:Create and execute agendas for SES partner(s) meetings.Executive Oversight:Ensure compliance with Franchise Agreement obligations.CLIENTS / STAKEHOLDERSInternal:MX Sales, Marketing & TechnicalFinancePlatform & ServiceLogistics / BOIExternal:Channel PartnerMobile Network OperatorsRetail ChannelsQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEAssociated undergraduate degree (Business Management) or relatedMin +8 years working experience which includes:Retail channel managementStrong franchise or retail operations experienceStore infrastructure development (e.g. store builds)Proven track record of successREQUIRED SKILL & COMPENTENCIESTechnical:Planning, organising and follow up skills, with the ability to prioritize, delegate and manage multiple projects with sensitive deadlines and changing environment.Communication skills that effectively communicate sophisticated concepts, insights and recommendations in a compelling manner to various audiences (written, verbal and presentations).Ability to quickly build trust and partnerships across various stakeholder groups.Strategic decision making and planning with strong business and financial acumen.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.Behavioral:ResilienceEnergyConfidentStrong project management skills – deadline task driven#J-18808-Ljbffr
