The Trade and Working Capital Architecture and Engineering team guide the solutions architecture for the space as well as develops bespoke solutions that are common across Trade and Working Capital.More about the project:Problem to solve- Facilitate the creation of a robust, reliable and easily changeable system by producing an automated test suite that will catch errors and bugs early in the development process, ensuring a stable production system.Solution/Deliverable- Automated test suite for API endpoints exposed by the system, the systems that will be integrating with the system, as well as the third party fintechs/partners that the system will be integrating with.Attractive Tech exposure- Exposure to Amazon Web Services.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools.Design and execute test plans and test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.Conduct API testing to verify integration points and data exchange between different software components.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.Troubleshoot issues and work closely with developers to resolve defects in a timely manner.Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.Document test results, defects, and testing procedures for future reference.Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in software testing and automation.BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Certification in software testing.Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling.Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud PlatformMANDATORY SKILLS:Computer Science, Engineering, or related field background, experience.Proven experience as an Automated Tester or Software QA Engineer.Strong proficiency in test automation frameworks such as Behavior Driven Development (BDD), Selenium, Appium, or similar.Extensive experience with API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar.Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.BENEFICIAL SKILLS:Extensive automation experience using Selenium/Cypress or any popular testing framework.Basic programming experience in the context of testing.Experience with how to integration automation testing with CICD. PACKAGE & REMUNERATION:Will be agreed based on qualifications, applicable banking experience and previous earnings.#J-18808-Ljbffr
