About our opportunities... As a Research Manager, you will be tasked with running market research projects, involving client liaison and project management from preparing proposals around a specific research design through to final debrief presentations. Responsibilities include: Helping to design research that delivers against clients business needs Supporting the team to grow and develop client accounts Managing and overseeing projects (though you will be supported by a project management resource) Analysing and interrogating data (both quantitatively and qualitatively) to unearth key insights Creating insightful, story-led presentations and reporting videos created with our video production company Ideal Insights Ensuring that we have delighted clients! The work covers a range of ad-hoc projects, typically involving quantitative and qualitative research, and both traditional and online fieldwork primarily in Europe but also internationally. With MMR’s focus on developing new and better research methods and sophisticated analysis techniques, the role offers the opportunity to gain experience of several novel and exciting approaches to conducting research and interpreting data. Previous experience within an ad-hoc agency environment essential Quantitative experience essential and exposure to qualitative beneficial Bachelors degree Ability to tell a story from the data is essential and turn into an engaging client report / presentation Self-starter Strong organisational&time management skills required Strong communication skills&the ability to work effectively as a team essential Experience working in a regional (ideally Africa) role an advantage Depth of experience in research project management with sensory science experience an advantage Willingness to travel to observe and conduct fieldwork (post-Covid of course!)
