Overview As the Group Reporting&Treasury Manager, you will play a critical role in managing the Group's cash flow, ensuring subsidiaries are appropriately funded, and overseeing the Accounts Payable team. You will be responsible for accurate cash flow forecasting, analytical reviews, and maintaining consistent payment runs aligned with forecasted cash flows. Additionally, you will prepare the Group's Annual Report and assist in both Group and Subsidiary audits, contributing to the development of new internal reports to support the Head of Finance in partnering with external stakeholders. You will ensure a strong control environment through regular reviews and ensure compliance with all statutory and government requirements. This includes managing tax relationships and ensuring timely filing of all tax-related obligations. As a finance leader, you will develop internal training materials, manage the treasury team's development, and collaborate closely with the Head of Finance to resolve issues promptly. The ideal candidate will have a qualified accounting background with significant post-qualification experience, particularly in cash flow management, audits, and financial statement preparation. Strong knowledge of IFRS/IAS reporting standards, experience managing a team are essential. You should possess strong managerial skills, a passion for automation, and excellent communication and collaboration abilities. An analytical mind with attention to detail and a control-oriented mindset is crucial for success in this fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Treasury: Oversee the Group's cash flow forecast and perform analytical reviews of actuals vs forecast, ensuring actions are taken to meet the Group's cash flow needs Manage the Group's treasury function, identifying and forecasting the subsidiaries' cash flow requirements and ensuring they are appropriately funded to meet their obligations Oversee and manage the Group's AP team, ensuring payments to suppliers are made on time and ensuring payment runs are kept consistent with forecasted cash flows Reporting: Prepare the Group's Annual Report and assist in the Group and Subsidiary audits, ensuring control findings and misstatements are minimal Assist the Head of Finance in preparing new reports within Planful to aid in partnering with external stakeholders Compliance&Tax: Maintain a strong control environment through the regular and timely review of subsidiary trial balances, balance sheet reconciliations, and processes Ensure compliance with all statutory and government requirements, partnering with our external advisors to ensure early completion of all regulatory filings Manage the tax relationships throughout the business, ensuring timely filing of all tax-related obligations (corporate taxes, consumption taxes, withholding taxes, and tax credit schemes) Manage the group insurance renewals. Finance Leadership: Develop internal training materials and manage the development of members within the treasury team Partner with the Head of Finance to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner Requirements Skills&Qualifications: Qualified accounting qualification - 5 years PQE Experience: Experience managing cash flow forecasts and payment processes Experience managing audits under an IFRS framework as well as the preparation of financial statements Clear knowledge of IFRS/IAS reporting standards Experience managing a team, ideally in a financial reporting role Able to demonstrate a clear understanding of control environments and best practice financial controls Experience with tax filings and treasury management Highly proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Knowledge of financial systems, Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, Planful&Adra, beneficial but not essential Attributes/Characteristics Strong managerial skills and adherence to deadlines Passion for automation and building efficient processes and robust controls Excellent communication and collaboration skills Attention to detail and analytical Control-oriented mindset Experience working in a fast-paced environment Self-motivation, teamwork, and interpersonal skills Experience working in a fast-paced environment Self-motivation, teamworking and interpersonal skills Benefits Rewards designed around you: A competitive salary depending on experience, plus performance-based bonus.
