Position Summary TheUSAID/Southern Africa Bilateral Health Office Health SystemsStrengthening team is seeking an experienced and skilled individualwith extensive knowledge on Human Resources for Health within theSouth Africa context, with the knowledge, and experience to supportkey time-bound strategic projects. These include, but not limited to,advancing sustainability agenda, conducting case studies on optimizingHRH, detailed HRH reporting, as well as perfrming coordinating andfacilitating meetings with internal and external stakeholders reportwriting, and providing technical assistance and site visit support toimplementing partners. Below is an outline of the activities for eachof the seven projects that the proposed candidate will be expected toimplement to ensure that deliverables are being met. Primary Responsibilities Task 1: Provide routinesupport to monitor the Provincial HRH support in Limpopo, Gauteng,Free State, and Mpumalanga Province. This project seeks tomaintain critical service delivery and data support in highly targetedkey areas, both geographically and within the care and treatmentcascade to yield the most impact within the context of reduced partnerfunding in collaboration with the National, Provincial, and DistrictTeams at the Department of Health (DoH). The mechanism of support istargeted at the National Department of Health and four provinces whichinclude Limpopo (Capricorn and Mopani districts), Mpumalanga(Ehlanzeni, Gert Sibande, and Nkangala), Gauteng (the City ofJohannesburg and Sedibeng)and Free State (Lejweleputswa and ThaboMofutsanyane) where USAID has District Support Partners (DSPs) whohave an added role as Provincial Support Partners (PSP).
