What will you do? Perform the function of central system administrator and provide support to all business streams and clusters. Determines timely and effective solutions to business needs. Produces functional and technical specifications for Sanlam’s Compliance and Risk system CURA. Incumbent will form part of the Compliance and Risk teams and will provide support for both modules of the system. Responsible for the systematic and methodical investigation, analysis and documentation of system functions in terms of business functions and processes and the information they use. Responsible for designing and implementing major changes to existing systems in consultation with the business owners and technical teams. Incumbent carries out business and systems analyses, design, system testing, security assessments, performance assessments, user interfaces and applies configuration changes. Delivering results with SGT and the vendor. What will make you successful in this role? Provide administrator support with regards to user access management, domain name/structural updates, data imports, methodology enhancements (screens, drop down options/master data changes, field names), workflow, dashboards, audit trails, system bugs and change requests. Monitor all related system integrations/APIs/other impacted applications to ensure they are running as expected (Lexis Nexis, Legal Entity System, SharePoint, SSO) Monitor all scheduled and ad hoc jobs to ensure they are running as expected. Monitor, manage and report any issues relating to the system environments, for Prod, and Non-Prod environments. Ensure that these are kept in sync as far as possible. Monitoring and management of access to the various environments. Constantly monitor to ensure the system’s multilingual functionality (English and French) and screens are kept in synch with all changes effected. Logs any identified bugs or system change requests with the vendor, works with the vendor and/or SGT to implement fixes. Logs any identified authentication, infrastructure or database issues with SGT, works with SGT and/or vendor to implement fixes. Responsible for analysis, research, recommendations, design and implementation of system enhancements and change requests. Responsible for feasibility assessment, impact assessment, requirements documentation for any change requests. Central Co-ordination, management and testing of all system changes in accordance with the Change/Release management process Comprehensive documentation of Test Plans and coordination of testing effort. Document implementation plan and ensure successful implementation. Conduct post implementation review. Scope, create and test new reports and dashboard requests which are received from business and ensure that this is correctly delivered. Assist with training of users and ensuring the related documentation is kept up to date. Attend the quarterly CURA Risk Forum / Compliance Forum sessions to discuss and provide input into CURA related matters. Qualification and Experience Degree or Diploma and the required Certification with 6 to 8 years related experience. Extensive knowledge and experience with setup and configuration of the CURA application Business Analysis experience or certification Knowledge of Risk Management and Compliance Management frameworks and methodologies would be advantageous.
