The purpose of this role is to grow value, volume and profit in line with the company objectives for National accounts through the development and execution of appropriate sales strategies, to provide leadership to Customer teams, teamwork with all key interfaces, and focus on Customer Centricity.Line Manager: Sales ExecutiveJob Specification:Key Performance Areas:Key Account Management Group Client ProfitabilityImprove and maintain operating profit value and operating percentage by Group CustomerSecure price increase on time and in line with the business requirementsDeliver and improve technical NSV in both Channel and Group ClientClient RelationshipDrive the formal approach to Customer Relationships at key levels with the KAM teamIdentify and implement retention plans for top groups with SLA and MOU agreementsEnsure that the client brand standards are communicated and deliveredNew Business DevelopmentDrive initiative that will ensure that lucrative National Group Business is securedManage the Marketing spend managed across all aspects, POS, promotions, trading terms within budgetManagement of Cost Savings initiativesReview budget on Weekly / Monthly and Quarterly basisMaintain costsIdentify and Manage cost saving initiatives with CustomersLead & Manage the Key Accounts Management teamDrive the team to support regions in the achievement of sales targets.Manage the KAM team’s performance and identify any training needsLead and steer Global principles of Lavazza (Italy)Responsible to take global brands (Lavazza) as well as closed coffee solutions (Lavazza capsules), technicalcompetence and global equipment partnerships and World Class training (SCAE Specialty Coffee Association ofEurope) credentials and capabilities to specific marketsRegional & National Operational RelationshipDrive the KAM update to regions of Top Group activity with PI’s and reviewsCollaborate and work with Sales Executive to deliver National Sales TargetsRegional Feedback of activity by Top Groups Subjective review each quarter by all Regional ManagerQualifications and Experience:Matric/Grade 12 CertificateBusiness Related Degree / Diploma/Qualification8 – 10 years in Management role within the Key Accounts Management functionProven experience in managing a budgetSales systems and proceduresMS OfficeAdvanced selling and negotiation skillsReport writing and analysisOther requirements:Must have Food Service / Hospitality Industry backgroundCompetencies:Thinking AnalyticallyMinimising riskPlanning and organizingMaintaining productivityInterpreting dataAttention to detailSeizing business opportunitiesArticulating information AVI LIMITED is home to many of South Africa’s leading and best-loved brands.
