Apply before Aug 31 2024 | 107 Days left Durban Area – KwaZulu Natal: Our client is looking to employ an experienced Warehousing Manager.The role presents an exciting opportunity to lead our Warehouse in Durban at BP Hub.This role will focus on warehousing experience and it is important that the successful incumbent has warehousing experience as a Manager. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Qualification: 4 year Degree / NQF level 7, Diploma warehousing/Logistics Experience in a similar role: 5 years PLUS DUTIES&RESPOSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a diverse team of warehouse professionals. Analytical mindset with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize operations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. Experience working in an international or multi-national warehouse environment is highly desirable Standardization of Warehouses: Develop and implement standardized warehouse processes, including Bin location management, receiving, storage, picking, packing, and distribution. Establish and enforce uniform operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency across all Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain compliance with organizational standards and industry regulations. Bin location standardization and rationalization in line with SKU management from category and procurement teams Stock Management Processes: Oversee all aspects of stock management, from receipt of goods to issuance and repurposing. Implement robust inventory control measures to minimize stock variances and ensure accurate stock levels across all Lead initiatives for stock repurposing, optimizing inventory utilization, and minimizing excess or obsolete stock. Management of Stock Controllers: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of stock controllers responsible for day-to-day operations in the warehouse Provide leadership and direction to stock controllers, setting clear performance objectives and KPIs.
