Position Description RTI International is seeking CVs from qualified technical applicants for the anticipated USAID Southern Africa’s Countering Wildlife Crime Activity . These positions will be based in Pretoria, South Africa or elsewhere in Southern Africa on a case-by-case basis. Position is contingent upon award and funding. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 12 years of experience, Master's degree and 10 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Experience in one or more of the following technical areas:Wildlife crime enforcementLaw enforcement strengtheningCorruption reduction and resiliency against corruptionNatural resources policyProject management and regional coordinationKnowledge management and adult learningSystems thinking and collaborating, learning, and adapting (CLA)Monitoring and evaluation, especially in accordance with the USG Statement of ManagersProtected/conservation area managementOutreach and engagement with local and indigenous communitiesGender and youth inclusionCapacity Building / Institutional StrengtheningPrivate Sector Engagement and partnerships buildingClimate Risk Management Prior experience working on a USAID-funded or other international donor-funded project. Strong management skills and the ability to manage projects and teams with remote offices or team members. Excellent oral and written English language communication skills required; fluency in local language(s) strongly preferred.
