We are seeking a Warehouse Manager with at least 3 years' experience in managing stock in a warehouse. You will be responsible for managing a warehouse of stock and making sure stock is counted and product orders are done efficiently.

Requirements:
• Lead the implementation of a new stock system
• Maintain accurate record of inventory and stock management systems
• Ensure regulation of in-stock level complies with demand
• Develop inventory control models that promote lower cost of sales, shorter lead times, and reduced stock levels
• Collaborate closely with finance on stock levels and orders
• Engage in the forecast of supply and demand to obtain information useful in improving the continuity of supply chain
• Supervise the maintenance of a warehouse/storeroom and ensure proper arrangement of stock
• Oversee the placing of orders and ensure requested goods are delivered on time
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with suppliers to enable easier procurement of products
• Work alongside and manage drivers on their daily deliveries; utilizing optimal routes
• Ensure purchase inventory is within specified budget
Our client is looking for a candidate who is actively fit and able to work on their feet and oversee the full function of receiving and despatching of stock.

Requirements:
• 8 or more years recent working experience as a Warehouse Supervisor in a steel and tube trading environment.
• Computer literate.
• Able to work shift one week (6pm to 6am) and the following week from 6am to 6pm and alternative Saturdays and public holidays on a roster basis from 8am to 1pm.
• Experience working with mild steel products (tubing, sections, sheets, and plates) this is essential
• Of sober habits.
• Energetic and physically fit.
• Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transport.
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supervising staff.
• Ensuring that the correct stock is received and despatched.
• Performing general housekeeping duties and ensuring that the warehouse is neat and tidy.
• Working closely with the Warehouse Manager
