Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent qualification 3 – 5 years’ experience in Microsoft SQL Server, CSS, SCSS, building and debugging responsive web applications using C# Software language (PHP, Node.js, JavaScript, Frameworks/Technologies (MS.NET, Flutter, Angula, Servlet 2.5, POJOS/Spring, Angular JS) Tools/Software (GIT, Apache TOMCAT9+, Apache WebServer 2.5+, JDBC Libraries) Tools/Software (GIT, Apache TOMCAT9+, Apache WebServer 2.5+, JDBC Libraries) Duties and Responsibilities: Desig, develop, and deploy robust web applications hosted in cloud platforms, using popular frontend and backend frameworks. Develop regression tests to test T-SQL code. Build responsive web pages that provide good user experience and efficient data transfer between front-end, service layer and back-end databases. Evaluate code to ensure that it is valid, logically structured, meets industry standards, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems. Modify existing components to correct errors, or upgrade interfaces and improve performance. Perform tests which adhere to planned schedules, report anomalies, and document test plans, procedures, or results. Document technical specifications and performance of server load, bandwidth, database performance, browser and device types. Communicate with network personnel or hosting agencies to address hardware or software issues affecting sites or applications Develop and improve understanding of current Web technologies or programming practices through continuing education, reading, or participation in professional conferences, workshops, or groups. Engage professionally with consultants and key business unit stakeholders when required Monitor consultant expenses to achieve cost efficiencies and reduce waste Ensure financial documentation (pertaining to IT and SAP development) is maintained to support accurate record keeping and future requirements as per legislation Ensure complete, timeous and accurate reporting with appropriate levels of escalation to enable effective decision-making Monitor, analyse and audit the key business processes and metrics Closing date for applications: 26 September 2024.
