As a PR Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various civil engineering projects, including roads, stormwater, geometrics, sewer, and pavements. The role requires strong technical expertise, excellent project management skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders.Responsibilities:Project Management/Engineering ProjectsDesign roads, stormwater, geometrics, and pavementsPlanning, investigating engineering problems and finding solutionsAnalysis and design of all related infrastructureOverseeing the production of drawings and other related infrastructure componentsSite inspection and supervisionChecking and verifying engineering details on drawings produced by the drawing officeAnalysis and design of roads, water, sewer, and other related infrastructure, manually and using design softwareTraining and supervision of Technicians and junior engineersChecking of drafting work, general arrangement drawings, and detailsRequirements:Bachelor’s degree (B-Tech or B- Eng) in Civil Engineering or a related fieldProfessional registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)3-5 years of post-registration experience in civil engineeringStrong knowledge of civil engineering principles, design standards, and construction practicesProficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management toolsComputer knowledge (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Project)Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsPR.
