A property asset management company, focusing on simplifying property investment while maximising profitability for their investors, is looking to add a Financial Operations Manager to their team. The company is based in the Southern Suburbs , Western Cape . The ideal candidate is someone who can do day-to-day accounting, manage processes well and has previous experience in financial management. Key Responsibilities : Managing a team of three staff members. All human resource requirements in the division of the company. Preparation of the monthly accounting duties of the division. Ad Hoc Reporting and acting as intermediary on all finance / accounting related matters with both internal management and Portfolio Manager from investors and rental pools. Third party rental pool management to ensure healthy cash flows, this includes reaching out and negotiating payment plans with rental pools (if necessary) allowing continued trade without damaging stakeholder relationships. Debtors review and management ensuring timeous recoveries as required. Where required contacting rental pools to facilitate payments and calculations. Preparation of Annual Budget and reviewing of Budget on monthly basis against actual company results. Managing working relationships with Banks on ensuring compliance and management of relevant facilities. Act as intermediary and facilitator with auditors and bookkeepers on the completion of annual CIPC Return, Annual and Provisional Tax Returns, and External Audit Completion of monthly SARS requirements. Requirements and Experience : BComm Financial/Management Accounting Qualified CGMA preferred, Professional Accountant (SA) and AGA (SA) with relevant experience will also be considered.
