Description Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a critical role in the successful completion of construction projects. Your responsibilities will include overseeing cost management, estimating, and procurement processes. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget. With your expertise, you will provide accurate and reliable measurements and prepare detailed financial reports. Responsibilities Oversee cost management, estimating, and procurement processes. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project success. Provide accurate and reliable measurements for project costing and financial reporting. Prepare detailed cost plans, bills of quantities, and tender documentation. Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier bids and contracts. Monitor project progress and manage any variations or claims. Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure quality and compliance. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field. Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and cost management principles. Proficient in using software and tools such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Estimating software. Excellent numerical and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication and negotiation skills. Professional certification or membership with relevant industry bodies (e.g., RICS, SAIBD) is preferred.
