Who are we:A company specialised in the production and distribution of materials essential for various industrial applications.Who are we looking for:An experienced project engineerWhat will you do:The project engineer works to plan projects, establish project criteria, coordinate project reviews, and ensure the proper implementation of project elements.Essential Functions:Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned engineering projects.Generating proposals and reportsLiaison with the different internal departments to ensure the smooth execution of project plansComplete technical surveysManaging and facilitating various projectsMonitoring projects budgets, schedules, plans, and reporting on the project's status.Understanding of applicable procedures, policies, standards, and best practices in line with the company’s QMS systemCompilation of technical reports / proposalsPerforming process capability studiesConduct time / work studiesFacility layout and designReviewing the engineering tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions.Developing specifications for the project's needed equipment.Creating frameworks to measure the project's metrics and data collection.Establishing field test methods and methods for monitoring the quality of those tests.Ensuring the project's compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.What do you need:Senior Certificate – Matric with maths (Not maths Lit)Diploma / Degree in Project engineering / Project Management / Industrial engineeringAbility to read and understand technical drawingsCompetent with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)Excellent Verbal and written communication skillsAttention to detail.2 -5 Years’ experience in a similar roleReliable transportReliable, highly motivated, and confident attitudeTo be able to perform well under pressure, must possess a high stress toleranceWell organisedWilling to work overtime when requiredMust be willing to carry out tasks outside of job description.Goal OrientatedMust have excellent time management skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
