Our client is seeking Registered and Enrolled Nurses for a professional clinic based in Simons Town. Must have addiction or psychiatric experience. Separate clinics and focused on the international market, adult clinic for addiction clients and young adult’s clinic, assisting with various mental health issues. Seeking the best team players to be part of this organisation to start immediately.Behavioural Competency• Capable of recognising the need for action, considering possible risks, and taking responsibility for results• Capable of making decisions timeously and taking responsibility for the consequences• The capacity to identify and respond to the needs of the patient.• The capacity to improve systems and processes to facilitate continuous improvement.• Capacity to instil an ethic of quality and consistency in self.• Capacity to establish constructive and effective relationships – working calmly, efficiently with exceptional professional boundaries.• Capacity to clearly present information, either written or verbal.• Capacity to perform a technical function to required standards.Duties include the following, but not limited to• Ordering and issuing of medication.• Accurate recording of all nursing related documentation daily.• Recording of all nursing interactions on an online based medical server.• Accompanying clients to doctors, dentist, blood services and any other services.• You will be expected to be able to connect clients online to doctors and social workers online via various platforms, Teams/Zoom.• Daily nursing tasks, including but not limited to, monitoring clients at mealtimes, monitoring clients with eating disorders, monitoring clients with suicidal and self-harm potential.• You will be expected to handle all admissions efficiently and professionally, ensuring new clients are made welcome, safe, and settled into their bedrooms with no delays.• You will be expected to take clients shopping on a Saturday morning and go with clients on various outings on a Sunday.• Undertake any other duties as delegated by the Nursing ManagerRequirements:• A relevant nursing qualification (Diploma in General Nursing/B Cur Degree)• Registration with SANC• Minimum of 5 years’ experience• Excellent English communication skills• Committed to clinical excellence.• Effective client care• Hours of work will be 12 hours per shift, day, and night shift.• Must have own transport.• Live in the Southern Peninsula areaSalary: Market related, depending on experience.If you don’t hear from us within 3 weeks of your application, please consider your application unsuccessful.
