Your responsibilities will include: Advising students on academic and/or financial matters by providing options and consequences incorporating personal circumstances impacting academic success and an understanding of an individual's background. Analyzing and making recommendations on PHD award funding allocation Preparing Graduate supervision Awards, stipends, and TA hours allocation. Providing detailed information on PHD program and/or course eligibility requirements, procedures, policies and deadlines. Verifying that students have access to courses in student information systems. Reviewing and approving changes to program requirements for exceptional cases. Preparing and analyzing statistical information to inform enrollment projections and planning. Organize the PHD student recruitment session. Analyzing service delivery and/or internal processes and recommending improvements. Preparing the dossier of Postdoctoral fellows.  Essential Qualifications: Minimum 1 year experience as a Graduate Administrator in a PhD environment Demonstrated experience in allocation and administration of PhD funding packages Basic to medium knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office 365, ACORN/ROSI. Experience managing admissions and recruitment of students in a PhD environment Experience contacting external examiners for final oral exams in a PhD environment Experience coordinating travel arrangements Experience with eMarks processing Familiarity with SGS graduate policies and procedures. Basic proficiency with SLATE Basic knowledge administering postdoctoral fellowships and their dossier.  NOTE: This is a 6-month contract opportunity offered via UTemp.
