About Our Client: Our client, a non-profit, mutual medical scheme registered with the Council for Medical Schemes, has been providing healthcare services to South Africans for years. They are currently seeking a Risk Analyst to join their team in Gauteng. Role Overview:Our client is looking for a Risk Analyst responsible for promoting risk and regulatory compliance by identifying, quantifying, reviewing, evaluating, and measuring risk to ensure all risk categories are managed in line with regulatory compliance, audit requirements, and strategic plans. The ideal candidate will have a Grade 12 qualification, a Risk Management Degree, and 3-5 years of experience in risk management and/or business continuity management within the financial services industry. Functions:Promote risk and regulatory compliance by identifying, quantifying, reviewing, evaluating, and measuring risk.Ensure all risk categories are identified and managed according to regulatory compliance, audit requirements, approved risk tolerance, risk appetite, and strategic plans.Maintain an effective risk management program.Develop and maintain an effective Business Continuity Management Governance Framework, using regulatory requirements and best practices.Promote awareness of Business Continuity Management through workshops and manage the lifecycle of the Business Continuity Plan. Requirements:Grade 12.Degree in Risk Management.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in risk management and/or business continuity management within the financial services industry.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Team player with strong personal organisation and planning skills.Proactive, independent, with a concern for precision and rigor.Analytical, reliable, flexible, and stress resistant.Ability to organise and prioritise tasks effectively.
