RPO Recruitment is working with a well-established mining company in the North West province to assist in sourcing a highly skilled Risk Officer for their operation. Responsibilities: Developing, implementing, and maintaining the Risk Management plan for the mining operation Identifying and assessing potential risks and their impacts on the business Creating strategies and plans to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Conducting regular risk assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies Providing regular reports and updates on the status of risk management activities Training and educating employees on risk management best practices Maintaining knowledge of industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance Requirements National Diploma in Safety Management Risk&Safety Management Certificates At least 5 years' safety related experience in the mining industry Minimum 5 years' experience in Risk Management and management of change systems Extensive experience in IBRA, BLRA, Task based and Continuous based risk assessments Familiarity with relevant legislation and regulations in the mining industry Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in risk management software and tools Benefits Salary: Negotiable Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable) RPO is a Specialist Recruitment Agency that provides candidates and clients with unique recruitment solutions tailored to their needs.
