Job Description:The job holder is responsible for creating platforms for data capturing, supervising and overseeing data collection and capturing activities, data cleaning, preparing codebooks, data retrieval, and conducting statistical procedures.(ads1)Job Responsibilities:Train and manage the data collection teamsPrepare drafts of documentation for funders and the ethics committee including various required reports, etc.To coordinate, manage and supervise the logistics of the study implementation including to:Contribute to data cleaning and finalizationPrepare data collection tools including various paper forms and electronic data collection tools (e.g., tablets)Undertake stakeholder engagement and communicationContribute to the finalization of the programme manuals and materialsManage data for large surveysGenerate weekly data summaries and reports for on-going studiesTo take part in presenting the findings of the study and writing reports and manuscriptsMonitor the quality and completeness of data and implement quality control measuresWrite SOPs for data collectionJob Requirements:Experience in research study management including training and managing teams of fieldworkers.5 years or more experience in managing research data for large surveysMaster’s degree in Statistics or a related Mathematical field3 years’ experience in managing data of household surveysJob Details:Company:South African Medical Research Council – MRCVacancy Type: TemporaryJob Location:PretoriaApplication Deadline: N/A(ads2)Apply Hereinstantcareers.net#J-18808-Ljbffr
