We are seeking to appoint an experienced Civil Engineer/Technologist who will be responsible for the planning, design, monitoring, and reporting of infrastructure projects related to civil and building works.Key Attributes:The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, customer-focused, and committed to putting in extra effort to ensure the successful completion of their assigned projects.The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Attending client project briefings and assisting with the preparation of project specifications.Assisting with the preparation of feasibility studies and technical reports.Preparing designs and drawings for roads and stormwater projects or water and sanitation projects.Liaising with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.Arranging all required project meetings and preparing minutes and progress reports.Monitoring and advising contractors and Resident Engineers on site.RequirementsBEng, BSc, or B-Tech degree in Civil Engineering.Professionally registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Technologist.Minimum of 5 years of experience in Roads and Stormwater or Water and Sanitation design.Creative with a strong understanding of relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.Ability to effectively advise clients where required.Proven experience in Project Management.Strong report writing skills.BenefitsSalary is negotiable
