Job Description The Exciting Role: The Brand&Category Assistant will support in implementing plans and initiatives relating to our portfolio of brands to drive equity and growth within the independent grocery channel Nationally across Australia. As Brand&Category Assistant, you will support the Brand&Category Team on range management, promotional planning and execution, sales&profit performance, and supplier and and customer management (both internal and external). This role will also be responsible for conducting market research activities to forecast emerging market trends that are relevant for the organisation. In addition this role also assists the team in selecting, pricing, and positioning of products, onboarding and launch planning for new product lines and ongoing management of our suite of sales tools (including pricelists) and communications to our sales team. We have strong, long-term relationships with our suppliers and customers so the ability to build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders will be extremely important for this role. A commercial mindset, with a flair for creative thinking is a must for this role. An interest in grocery and FMCG to be able to develop clear understanding of consumers' wants, and needs will also be a key component. We are ideally looking for people who have worked within FMCG.
