Our established client in Greytown is currently seeking a Nursery Maintenance Manager to join their team. Overview: Manage an efficient workshop and team to ensure all vehicles, nursery equipment and buildings are maintained and managed in a cost-effective and efficient manner. The goal is for the ideal candidate to be able to do more work in-house and become self-sufficient. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the following : Delivery Fleet Maintenance Perform day-to-day repairs Manage daily driver checks on fleet (+- 20 Vehicles) Ensure vehicles are in a satisfactory condition prior to going in for COF testing Tyre stock management Handle external service providers and ensure truck services scheduling is handled efficiently Farm Fleet Maintenance Handle minor and major day-to-day repairs Service tractors and general farm equipment Handle external service providers Quad Bike Fleet Maintenance Perform major and minor day-to-day repairs Service quad bikes regularly General Farm Equipment Maintenance Co-ordinate maintenance and repair of nursery trollies, waist trailers, racking systems, dispatch equipment, forklifts, pumps and irrigation systems Service and repair seeding equipment Building Maintenance Maintain farm buildings including lighting, painting, roofs, windows, doors, plumbing and security Attend to daily maintenance requests Irrigation and Borehole Maintenance Install and repair irrigation systems as required Additional Responsibilities Fabrication and design Manage construction projects Workshop stock management Workshop staff management Develop and expand our maintenance team Requirements: Proficiency in English and Zulu preferred At least 2 years' experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing and vehicle maintenance Computer literacy - basic Excel etc. Management and planning experience Please send your CV to hr@pronel.co.za Please note: due to the high volume of responses, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. #J-18808-Ljbffr
