Our established client in Greytown is currently seeking a Nursery Maintenance Manager to join their team.Overview:Manage an efficient workshop and team to ensure all vehicles, nursery equipment and buildings are maintained and managed in a cost-effective and efficient manner. The goal is for the ideal candidate to be able to do more work in-house and become self-sufficient.The candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the following:Delivery Fleet MaintenancePerform day-to-day repairsManage daily driver checks on fleet (+- 20 Vehicles)Ensure vehicles are in a satisfactory condition prior to going in for COF testingTyre stock managementHandle external service providers and ensure truck services scheduling is handled efficientlyFarm Fleet MaintenanceHandle minor and major day-to-day repairsService tractors and general farm equipmentHandle external service providersQuad Bike Fleet MaintenancePerform major and minor day-to-day repairsService quad bikes regularlyGeneral Farm Equipment MaintenanceCo-ordinate maintenance and repair of nursery trollies, waist trailers, racking systems, dispatch equipment, forklifts, pumps and irrigation systemsService and repair seeding equipmentBuilding MaintenanceMaintain farm buildings including lighting, painting, roofs, windows, doors, plumbing and securityAttend to daily maintenance requestsIrrigation and Borehole MaintenanceInstall and repair irrigation systems as requiredAdditional ResponsibilitiesFabrication and designManage construction projectsWorkshop stock managementWorkshop staff managementDevelop and expand our maintenance teamRequirements:Proficiency in English and Zulu preferredAt least 2 years' experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing and vehicle maintenanceComputer literacy - basic Excel etc.Management and planning experiencePlease send your CV to hr@pronel.co.zaPlease note: due to the high volume of responses, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.#J-18808-Ljbffr
