You are responsible for developing and maintaining architectural standards and strategies across your designated domains such as applications, data, and infrastructure, ensuring these meet both business and IT requirements while aligning with long-term enterprise goals. Additionally, you will establish and enforce architectural governance processes within the domain to maintain compliance with architectural standards and principles, monitoring projects for adherence to domain-specific guidelines.  Through engagement with business and IT stakeholders, you will translate their needs and challenges into actionable architectural plans that enhance operational effectiveness and support organizational objectives.This role is designed for a visionary architect who excels in strategic planning, possesses a deep understanding of technology and architecture frameworks, and is capable of leading with influence to drive significant technological advancements within the organization. Key Responsibilities:Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation within the domain, including architectural artifacts, diagrams, and domain-specific documentation to facilitate stakeholder understanding and support strategic decisions.Collaborate with change management teams to ensure the smooth implementation of architectural changes within the domain, educating and guiding stakeholders on the benefits and rationale behind these decisions.Conduct regular reviews and assessments to ensure compliance with standards within the domain. Additionally, you’ll tackle domain-specific architectural challenges by devising innovative and practical solutions.Define and maintain domain-specific architectural standards and strategies.Ensure that technology solutions comply with established EA principles and adhere to architectural standards.Engage with IT and business stakeholders to assimilate domain-specific needs and provide architectural solutions.Develop and oversee domain-specific architectural documentation and governance processes.Conduct reviews and assessments to uphold standards and compliance within the domain.Innovate and optimise solutions to meet domain challenges and enhance architectural effectiveness.Facilitate change management processes within the domain, ensuring stakeholders comprehend and adopt architectural changes. Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related fields.Preferred: TOGAF certification.Minimum of 3 years in systems and solutions design, with at least 2 years in a management role.Strong experience in enterprise architecture, particularly within the relevant technology domains.Demonstrated capability in leading architectural governance and strategy in complex environments. Pertinent Points:The Domain Architect will leverage deep domain knowledge to guide and influence architectural decisions and governance.The role entails collaboration with various Africa Tech teams on service improvement initiatives and managing documentation within systems like Oracle, ServiceNow, and Azure DevOps.Education (if blank, degree and/or field of study not specified)Degrees/Field of Study required:Degrees/Field of Study preferred:Certifications (if blank, certifications not specified)Required SkillsOptional SkillsDesired Languages (If blank, desired languages not specified)Travel RequirementsUp to 20%Available for Work Visa Sponsorship?NoGovernment Clearance Required?YesJob Posting End DateJune 8, 2024#J-18808-Ljbffr
