A specialist warehouse and distribution company has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, customer service-oriented Assignee Clerk in the Eastern CapeThe Assignee Clerk is responsible for managing the working hours of outsourced employees, providing daily capturing of new assignee take-on forms (pakkies), termination documents, and status change documents of assignees on Time and Attendance system as well as providing support for the Administration role.Matric / NQF level 4 EquivalentHR qualification or equivalent advantageous.Computer literacy must be Familiar with Word, Excel, and OutlookProven experience as an assignee clerk or other clerical positionFamiliarity with office procedures and basic accounting principlesWorking knowledge of office devices and processesHOURS MANAGEMENTManage Time and Attendance for all TES employees in the DCCapture overtime for all TES employees in the DCEnsure that employee borrowing, transfers, status changes, promotions, terminations, and new engagements are actioned on SAPEdit time punches and manage unauthorized time on WFM (TA) systemGenerate and capture Admin employee registersSchedule TES employees per shift on WFMCheck invoices to ensure that correct rates are being allocated to the correct designationsEnsure that all new employees are loaded on biometrics to grant them access to the DCGenerate and distribute time card and raw punch reports to the TES’s companies to resolve queries i.e. Overtime, short hours, etc.Ad hoc duties from the Operations manager and Personnel officer.ADMINISTRATION AND REPORTINGCheck and facilitate the exception report on WFMFacilitate the close of the pay processCheck and verify agency hours and invoicesEnsure all employee documentation is filled as per the SOPGenerate monthly reports (FTE, Headcount, staff movement, and hours worked) for staff movements purposesCLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENTAttend formal meetings at a client with the Personnel officer when requiredLiaise with client Head office by raising IT-related incidents and TA system-related queries
