Job Position: Code 10 Driver and Inventory Control ClerkRef: 4708Location: PE/GqeberhaSalary: R11 523 per month commensurate with qualification and experienceEmail your CV to recruit@onlinepersonnel.co.zaQualifications / Requirements:• +- 3 years driving experience• Must have valid driver’s licence – Code 10• Valid Dangerous Goods certificate• Valid forklift licence will be an advantage• Operationally a hands-on person• Ability to work under pressure and deliver accurate work within a deadline driven environment• Time management skills• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organisation• Ability to take the initiative• Be able to take responsibilityKey Performance Areas:Driver duties:• Perform scheduled pick-ups and deliveries as instructed• Ensure that all payload on route is safely loaded and that all measures will be taken to ensure no stock losses occur• Ensure the delivery vehicle is maintained and in proper running order• Always keep the delivery vehicle clean and neat• Complete daily vehicle checks, log sheets diligently and correctly• Check and sign that all stock being loaded per delivery is correct and corresponds with the pick ticket and delivery note• Responsible for fuelling the truck and submitting tickets for purchase of such fuel to the Supervisor• Attend and successfully complete all necessary staff orientation and training functions• Adhere to all health and safety protocols implemented by the company at all times• Report all incidents immediately to the office and complete an incident report form timeously• Assist with weekly and monthly inventory count• Housekeeping of warehouse to be done as and when neededInventory Control Clerk duties:Month end inventory stock count• Receive and count items in a warehouse inventory and record data manually on the weekly/ monthly stock take sheet provided• Stock sheet to reflect start and stop date and time for each count• Month end 1st count to be completed on the 20th of each month, (if the 20th falls over a weekend, the count will be done prior to the 20th on the Friday) Count to be submitted to Supervisor• Month end 2nd count will be done 2 days after the first count has been completed and variances logged into system• Recount to be submitted to Supervisor• Completed stock count with reasons for all variances to be submitted no later than the 26th of each month to the Operations Manager• Month end variance if found to be an error in SOP not being followed, will be deducted from the responsible personWeekly stock count and discrepancies• Receive and count items in a warehouse inventory and record data manually on the weekly/ monthly stock take sheet provided• Weekly stock counts to be started and completed each Friday• Compare the quantities of items physically present in the warehouse to the printed inventory records of a warehouse• Populate Excel stock sheet weekly• Investigate any difference between the stock on hand and the system Stock on Hand values• After investigation, the discrepancies must be reported to the Operations Supervisor• Weekly variance if found to be a error in SOP not being followed, will be deducted from the responsible personReceiving of stock• Unpack and packs items and stock them on the shelving systems in a warehouse• Keep the stocked items organized and readily accessible• Make note of all and any stock issues found when receiving stock into the store and advise supervisor immediately• No stock will be received into the store if not checked for quality issues and that the stock name and quantity is what is reflecting on official Purchase OrderInventory Tagging• Ensure all stock items are clearly labelled and identifiable• No stock without labels is allowed to be stored for any time period• Advise Supervisor immediately if any labels are not in a sellable condition or if any labels are in the process of falling off• Supervisor to advise the way forward to replace, clean, or reattach labels if possible
