We’re on the lookout for a Production Manager Uptakes #3 to effectively manage the Uptakes #3 section through optimum production output with the required quality and minimum downtime, whilst maintaining extremely high safety standards. As a Production Manager Uptakes #3 , you will be responsible for: All Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) systems within the section and the implementation of all SHEQ rules and regulations. Optimal plant efficiency within the section. Formulation and execution of the annual business plan. Managing the short and long business plan / objectives to satisfy internal and external customer needs. Managing productivity of all relevant resources within the area of responsibility. Liaise with the engineering department regarding daily work schedules, priorities, outstanding work and work during planned and unplanned plant shut downs. Ensure cost efficiencies are monitored and cost expenditure is within budget. Accountable for the formulation, justification and approval of annual *** plans. Overall fixed and variable cost performance. The effective management of all human resources within the section. Ensure effective performance management, training and development of team members through the establishment of personal development plans, training and development plans and replacement plans. Ensure continuous improvement plans are set in place and are executed effectively to achieve business and cost improvement goals. Overall energy efficiency management in line with the mill’s targets and objectives. What are we looking for? BTech Pulp and Paper or BSc or BEng or BTech Chemical Engineering. 3 Year Supervisory Experience. What’s in it for you?
