We’re on the lookout for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to   maximise equipment performance in a safe, legal and cost-effective manner. As a Mechanical Engineer , you will be responsible for:  Development and implementation of maintenance standards and maintain equipment to these standards. Conducting audits to ensure compliance with standards and legal requirements. Ensure compliance with Maintenance Business Processes within his area of responsibility. Responsible for the coordination of all corrective actions required to return the plant back to service. Ensure failure analysis of plant and equipment failures is completed as per the plant standard, and that the probable root causes have been identified and addressed. Responsible for maintenance and incidental shut planning and execution. Responsible to advise on and assist with long-term maintenance planning. Budget control and management of maintenance expenditure. Ensure disposal of hazardous maintenance waste and spills according to environmental policies and procedures. Required to work standby and overtime as required. Communicates with the internal and external suppliers and customers respond to customer feedback and take corrective action if required.  What are we looking for? BSc / B.Eng / B Tech Degree or an equivalent in Mechanical Engineering  5 Years’ experience in heavy industry MDP or relevant management qualification will be advantageous GCC will be advantageous Computer Literate (MS Office Package) Valid Driving License What’s in it for you?
