Are you a dynamic professional with over 5 years of experience in procurement?Euro is currently seeking a qualified and motivated Procurement clerk to join our team.We are a fast-paced hardware distribution company, looking for a proactive procurement clerk. We require a candidate with experience in dealing with foreign suppliers and manufactures and arranging deliveries. Someone who can engage in a professional level and is a sound negotiator for pricing.Responsibilities· Identify opportunities for cost saving.· Compile data from variety of sources for analysing and ensuring stock complies with company policies.· Continually improve buying methods/processes.· Response to enquiries from internal and external sources in providing relevant and timeous information.· Other duties assigned by General Manager and/or Director.· Develop and implement buying strategies.· Managing daily buying activities, managing staff, and allocating tasks.· Managing supplier relations and negotiating stock, prices, timelines, etc.· Co-ordinating with stock controller to determine and manage stock needs.· Prepare cost estimates and manage budgets.· Hiring and training new staff in department (if applicable)· Communicate with the Marketing and Sales team to achieve effect working strategies.· Build and maintain relationships with suppliers.· Co-ordinate with fellow managers to monitor inventory and determine supply needs.· Manage all finance house payments and reconcile accounts· Department KPI’s on employee`sTasks· Foreign vat projections· Foreign shipman costings and shipman control review· Pastel pricing updates and housekeeping· USD vs Rand and Monitor USD spend· Update SOP and departmental policies with HR· Raising foreign invoices· Supplier correspondences and queries· Research and development when required· Stock journal approvalJob Type: Full-timePay: R7000,00 - R9000,00 per monthExperience:procurement: 5 years (Required)Application Deadline: 2024/05/20#J-18808-Ljbffr
