Account Managers will take ownership of nurturing the relationship between Shop2Shop and the retailers/customers who provide Shop2Shop’s products and services. Their primary objective is to optimize the profitability of each retail account while aligning with both customer expectations and the company’s goals/metrics.Location: Johannesburg/Cape TownKey Responsibilities:Develop and retain key account customer relationships with face-to-face and online/telephonic meetings to ensure customer and Company goals are aligned and achieved.Identify opportunities to grow business with existing customers and generate ongoing sales, including upselling and cross-selling of products and services.Develop and provide marketing materials for promotions and campaigns to customize for advertising or displaying Shop2Shop’s products.New business development; Identify and actively pursue new customers, by arranging meetings, doing presentations, and selling the mutual benefit of Shop2Shop products and services.Operates as the point of contact for customers; handling queries, and escalated technical problems; and making sure the customers receive requested products and services in a timely fashion.Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and communicate customer feedback, suggestions, and needs to Shop2Shop.Plan, forecast, and track customer account metrics including revenue and profit.Coordinate with employees, independent contractors, and Distributors working on the same account to ensure consistent service.Be on top of current market trends and competitors’ products and services and provide feedback to ensure Shop2shop remains competitive.Core Competencies:Hardworking with a positive “can do” attitude.Excellent interpersonal skills to build effective relationships.Exceptional sales and negotiation skills.Passionate about customer service and ability to listen to their needs.Ability to multi-task and prioritise.Competent in handling high-stress situations and staying calm under pressure.Independent worker but able to work in a team.Agile and flexible; willing to learn.Qualifications and Experience Required:4+ years’ experience in an Account Management role (essential).Proven ability to manage various accounts simultaneously (essential).Working experience within a retail/Fintech environment (ideal).Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products and Advanced Computer literacy skills (essential).Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills (English essential).#J-18808-Ljbffr
