The position will be responsible for the coordination and management of all events from conception to completion, ensuring deadlines and budgets are adhered to while maintaining the brand image and achieving maximum brand exposure. A Bonus To Have: Diploma or Degree in events management. Studying towards relevant Degree/ Diploma. What You’ll Do For The Brand: Coordinate from conception to completion the details of events such as golf days, conferences, road shows, airport promotions, Kingsmead promotions, July parties, selected charity events, f&b events, and any event deemed important for the company. Hire, train, educate and manage a team of casuals to assist with events. Set out proper event procedures and define event objectives. Ensure health and safety as well as gambling regulations are strictly adhered to. Obtain quotes, set up budgets, and adjust when necessary. Book venues and tools, and negotiate fees to obtain the best price. Prepare invitations and send them out at the appropriate time. Work with various departments to achieve objectives and ensure maximum brand exposure. Drive attendance to the events and analyze performance for detailed feedback. Maintain an annual events calendar and ensure all team members are adequately prepared. Control the quality, breakdowns, and stock levels of the company branding. Be available to work flexible hours and travel nationally. Conduct market research to understand the target market. Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
