An exciting opportunity exists for a Production Clerk at NATIONAL BRANDS LIMITED Isando Coffee and Creamer. The successful incumbent will be responsible for effective data management such as preparing documentation, data entry, compiling documents, coordinating schedules, maintaining office supplies, and preparing reports following prescribed formats. Performing various cost control duties such as stock usage reporting, consumables management and time and attendance reporting. Job Specification: Key Performance Areas: Quality: Plot graphs&Analyse trends on all rework and other wastes Coordinate customer complaints&NCR investigations&close-out. Report progress weekly. Update&communicate audit preparations&findings tracker (both internal&external) Update sensory attendance trackers&outcomes from the sessions. Speed/ On Time Delivery: Communicate production plan weekly once signed off. Trend&communicate product output&downtime reasons daily. Compile OEE&downtime reports&ensure accuracy Implement GMP,HACCP, 5S, 7Waste, CI and SHE initiatives Liaise with the Planner, Supervisor&Production Manager in respect to the production plan adjustment Investigate packing material problems and liaise with QA&Logistics Department Update the weekly&daily Dashboard File daily, weekly and monthly completed preventative maintenance checklists Coordinate RCA&project meetings. Ensure that trackers, attendance registers&minutes are fully updated&communicated. Effective planning and organising of labour Keep a record of overtime hours worked and absenteeism Identify and investigate output variances in line with Implement and maintain Mission Directed Work Team Cost: Ensure that coffee/creamer is produced within the specification (BOM)&highlight variances to supervisors&production managers. Ensure that PO consumptions are based on the actual usage on the floor. Control issuing of consumables by keeping records of all consumables utilisation. Assist in compiling budgets Ensure efficient PO close-out weekly Effective management of stock by coordinating cycle&stock counts as well as investigations of stock discrepancies with assistance from the supervisors. Accurate reporting of labour utilisation such as man hours, overtime, kg/man hours&temporary employee payments Ensure payments for temporary employees are correct&submitted to HR weekly SHE: Observe safety signs all the time Wear protective equipment at all times Drive SHE action close-out Update&communicate SHE tracker&scorecard weekly Update weekly SHE topics registers&ensure submissions to HR Attend, record&communicate minutes from the safety meetings. House Keeping Ensure that the rework is kept on the demarcated zone Implement the 5S principle Minimum Requirements: Experience: At least 1 year of production experience within the FMCG Qualifications: Grade 12 Operations/Business/Production Management or Process Management Additional Requirements: Good Communication skills, both written and verbal #J-18808-Ljbffr
