Job Description:The purpose of the position is to supervise depot activities, ensuring that the team functions effectively resulting in high levels of customer service being delivered and enabling achievement of relevant targets and customer service metrics.(ads1)Job Responsibilities:Take full responsbility for all administration which includes fuel sheets, gate security checks, etc.Ensure that a proper hand-over is done at each shift change.Ensure that fuel monitoring is capture and completed daily. Any discrepenancies to be notified to the line manager.Make sure all fuel orders are placed in time to avoid running out of fuel at the depot.Ensure that the vehicle movement process ia adhered to by both staff and security company by making sure that all movements are actively captured to demonstrate their live movements.Report any damages not picked up upon termination to branch for investigation.Supervise all staff on shifts (Dispatchers, Washers, Divers, Quality Checkers, etc.)Do mulitple regular quality inspections in the car park and ensure that the quality of the vehicles meets the business standards.Liaise with claims department to amend and/or add repair claims for any discrepancies found.Ensure that fleet checks are done daily.Ensure office block and ablutions are cleaned daily and ensure that the yard is kept clean.Make sure that vehicles are claimed as per their status when arriving and leaving the depot.Job Requirements:NQF level 4 qualification (Grade 12) .2 years operations support and/or supervisory experience in a similar environment.
