A completed B.Com (Accounting) is essential for this role, studying towards a CIMA or ACCA is highly advantageous, coupled with 5 years related experience in a similar role, preferably within the Manufacturing sector. KPI's include: Manage all accounting operations including Billing, Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable, General Ledger and Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue RecognitionCo-ordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variancesPrepare monthly financial management accounts for EXCOCo-ordinate the preparation of regulatory reportingMonthly reporting into SAP BFCResearch technical accounting issues for complianceSupport month-end and year-end close processIntercompany reconciliations are reconciled on a monthly basisEnsure quality control over financial transactions and financial reportingEnsure compliance with Government reporting require- ments and tax filingsDevelop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls (SOX)Treasury management and reducing businesses exposure to Forex Losses through FEC hedgingCapex and fixed asset managementInventory reconciliations / ensuring warehouses stock reconciles to ledgerAdditional Controller duties as necessaryFinancial Planning and Analysis functions:Develop the annual budget based on zero based budget at SKU levelProvide FP&A finance support to the Commercial Teams related to productivity, demand planning, reporting, and metrics in a timely mannerIdentify and understand business challenges; propose and create solutionsPartner directly with the Finance Team and Central FP&A Groups to collaborate on metrics, goals, and business reviewsDive deeply into financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide additional insightsWork on corporate projects and initiatives that impact the entire organisationCreate presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be madeIdentify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvementDevelop and maintain effective relationships with Business Partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organisation
