Candidates qualified by experience and in a similar role will also be considered. Proficiency in QuickBooks or a similar accounting package is required, along with strong Excel skills. The incumbent will be responsible for the accounting up to trial balance, statutory reporting, management accounts and also administrative functions, i.e. meeting scheduling, flight bookings, etc.The role will predominantly entail accounting and finance functions with additional administrative duties. The role will be based in either Bellville or Melkbosstrand.Duties and Responsibilities:FinanceCapturing of bank statements on QuickBooks.Printing of customer age analysis and follow-up on payments due and customer queries.Reconciling debtors where necessary and following up on customer queries and differences.Capturing supplier invoices to be paid.Reconciling creditors where necessary and following up on supplier queries and differences.Printing of remittances for supplier invoices.Accounting for international transactions.Cross-border payments.Filing of proof of payments to the remittance advices.Sending out customer statements.Updating of credit card receipts.Responsible for statutory reporting i.e., VAT, PAYE, UIF, etc.Liaise with the auditors.Work closely with the project manager.Perform administrative functions i.e., booking of flights, managing diaries, booking meetings, etc.Manage petty cash.Ad hoc duties as required.Qualifications and Experience:Degree, Diploma or certificate in accounting, bookkeeping or finance-related field.Qualified by experience.3+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience.Completed SAIPA, SAICA or CIMA articles a benefit.Working knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting systems.Solid reconciliation skills.Accurate and attention to detail.Remuneration:R240,000 to R360,000 per annum ctc.These jobs were popular with other job seekers#J-18808-Ljbffr
