Job Description This concern dominating in the insurance space is are seeking an exceptional Senior Business Analyst with a strong accounting background and expertise in Agile methodologies to join our Financial department. This role is pivotal in not only maintaining finance and accounting functionalities but also in driving the development of solutions for new products, mapping&enhancing transaction flows, managing accounts, updating the product COA, and supporting cross-functional teams in aligning business goals with technical capabilities. This role is suitable for a tenacious professional that has very strong analytical and logical problem - solving skills, investigative in nature and analytical. The key responsibilities for this role will include: Requirements gathering Busines process analysis User story development Accounting expertise Agile implementations Data analysis Quality assurance Stakeholder liaison Continuous improvement The requirements: Qualification: Completed CA(SA) / CIMA qualification Business Analysis qualification (Advantageous) Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the financial industry Proven experience working in Agile environments Familiarity with Insurance industry trends and regulatory requirements Skills Required: Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial data modelling, and ledger systems. Experience with working in ledger development, new product solutions, and defining transaction flows. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Proficiency in using business analysis tools and methodologies. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams. Strategic thinking skills to align projects with long-term business objectives.
