As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in understanding business needs, gathering requirements, and facilitating the development of solutions that meet organizational objectives. You will work closely with stakeholders from various departments to identify opportunities for process improvement, define project scopes, and ensure alignment between business goals and technology solutions.Customer Service: Internal Client Satisfaction measured through feedback on the achievement of SLA''s i.e. turnaround/ response times, friendliness, quality of IT solutions.Stakeholder Engagement: Manage diverse stakeholders across multiple levels within the organization in order to optimally deliver on solutions.Internal Process Measures:Accuracy, punctuality and completeness.Meeting deadlines.Time management.Innovation measured by the number of improvements, new initiatives, program modifications completed.Conducts effective progress evaluations in a timely manner.Personal Development:Competence rating (measured through 360 feedback)Self-Learning keeping abreast of business and IT developments KEY RESPONSIBILITIESRequirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements through interviews, workshops, and document analysis.Data Analysis: Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform decision-making and drive business improvements.Process Mapping: Document current and future state business processes using tools such as process flow diagrams, swim lane diagrams, and workflow models.Solution Evaluation: Evaluate potential solutions, including software applications, systems, and processes, to determine their feasibility, fit, and alignment with business needs.Requirement Management: Manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring traceability, completeness, and alignment with project objectives.Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, facilitating communication, managing expectations, and ensuring clarity of requirements.Documentation: Prepare clear and concise documentation, including business requirements documents, functional specifications, test plans, user stories, and user manuals.Change Management: Support change management activities, including training, communication, and stakeholder engagement, to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems.User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Collaborate with stakeholders to define UAT scenarios, conduct testing, and validate that delivered solutions meet business requirements.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and innovation to drive efficiency and effectiveness within the organization.Reporting: Produce activity weekly and/or monthly reports and ad hoc business reports as required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE and KNOWLEDGE: Bachelor''s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.Proven experience (typically 2+ years) as a Business Analyst or related role, with a strong understanding of business analysis principles and techniques.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyse information from multiple sources.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, including requirements elicitation, process modeling, data analysis, and stakeholder management.Familiarity with project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall, and experience working in cross-functional teams.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team environment.Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies, methodologies, and industry trends.Drivers license and own vehicle AdvantageousCertification(s) in business analysis (e.g., FTI, CBAP, CCBA,) or project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is a plus.Warehousing, storage and/or logistics experienceThis exciting role is available immediately and if this sounds like you, we would welcome your CV.
