Group SHEQ & HR Manager Supply Chain ~ HRDurban - KwaZulu Natal - South AfricaOur client, a premier manufacturer renowned for delivering top-tier products to the civil and geotechnical sectors across Southern Africa, stands as a beacon of excellence and innovation in the industry, is looking for a Group HR & SHEQ Manager to join their team in Durban.Requirements:SAMTRAC / related safety qualificationDegree in Human Resources5 years' experience with HR & SHEQKey Responsibilities:Managing the division's health and safety, environment management, and quality assurance systemsImplementing and managing ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO 50001, ISO 22001 throughout the divisionActing as the appointed management representative for the ISO integrated management systemMaintaining and ensuring recertification audits for all the ISO StandardsDevelopment of PPE specifications for all operationsProcure and distribute PPE annually or as requiredImplementing and maintaining SHEQ system policies and procedures in line with all relevant SHEQ legislationDeveloping, implementing, and evaluating risk management policies and programs including conducting regular site inspectionsAssisting in developing all the required documentation, operational checks, and maintaining records for the Integrated Management SystemRecording and investigating incidents to ensure safe and healthy working conditionsManaging the reporting and closing of all non-conformancesCarrying out risk assessments and risk mitigation, keeping records of incidents and accidents, and producing statistics for management reviewOverall responsibility for all SHEQ activities systems and procedures in the groupManaging and ensuring implementation of group policies and proceduresWorking as a strategic business partner to all Managers and other leads within the divisionDriving Employment Equity, Workplace Skills, Learnerships, and Training within the divisionManaging Employee and Industrial Relations (CCMA, Unions, Bargaining Councils, and Litigation)Assisting Management with Remuneration and Benefits benchmarking and gradingAssisting with succession planningWorking with Line Managers to ensure legal compliance to e.g., LRA, EEA, BCEA, Collective agreements, municipal bylaws, ASIB, insurance requirements, and othersManaging and maintaining credible working relationships between the Business and Unions (NUMSA, UASA, AMCU, and others) and liaising with Union Officials and employee representativesInterpreting and advising on employment lawApply for this Job#J-18808-Ljbffr
